1970s Daphine Floor Lamp by Tommaso Cimini
Designed by Tommaso Cimini for Lumina in the 1970s, the Daphine floor lamp is an enduring example of Italian lighting design, pairing a remarkably slender profile with precise, functional movement.
A lacquered metal structure rises from a weighted cast iron base, with an articulated arm allowing the light to be positioned and directed as needed. Its pared-back construction gives the lamp an almost graphic quality - minimal in form, yet distinctly mechanical in its detailing.
Presented in good vintage condition, with areas of discolouration and oxidation to the metal consistent with age and use.
