Mauritia

Drawing on the woven language of traditional Saharan Tuareg rugs, Mauritia is handwoven from jute and leather using the Punja flatweave technique. Linear forms and intricate geometric details are worked directly into the weave, creating a richly detailed surface with the natural variation of both materials.
