Australian Consumer Law
All goods sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If goods fail to be of acceptable quality but the failure is not major, you are entitled to have them repaired or replaced.

Tigmi Rugs
Crafted with meticulous attention to materiality and workmanship, Tigmi-designed rugs are made for longevity and come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects under normal residential use and proper care.
If a defect arises within the warranty period, please contact us at sales@tigmitrading.com with the invoice number and supporting images. Upon assessment, we will repair or replace the rug at our discretion. If the original rug is no longer available, we may offer a suitable alternative or a store credit.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from improper cleaning, accidents, spills, pets, or misuse
- Rugs used in unsuitable environments, such as high-traffic areas or spaces exposed to weather elements
- Variations in colour, texture, or weave that are characteristic of handmade rugs
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, shedding, or pilling
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Newly Crafted Pieces
Tigmi Trading offers a 12-month warranty on all newly crafted pieces from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use and with appropriate care.
If a defect arises within the warranty period, please contact us at sales@tigmitrading.com with the invoice number and supporting images. Upon assessment, Tigmi Trading may repair or replace the item at our discretion. If the original piece is no longer available, a suitable alternative or store credit may be offered.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from improper cleaning, accidents, spills, pets, misuse, or neglect
- Use in unsuitable environments, including excessive exposure to moisture, direct weather conditions, or other conditions inconsistent with normal residential use
- Natural variations in colour, texture, grain, weave, or finish that are characteristic of handmade or natural materials
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, surface marks, or gradual material changes over time
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Vintage Pieces
Tigmi’s vintage pieces have been selected for their character, craftsmanship, and history. Signs of age and prior use are to be expected and form part of each piece’s unique patina.
We aim to provide accurate descriptions and clear images of every item, including any noticeable flaws or signs of wear. Colours and finishes may appear differently on screens than in person. If further details are required, please contact us prior to purchase.
If you believe an item has a fault that was not disclosed in the listing, or if it arrives in a condition significantly different from that described, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@tigmitrading.com, including the invoice number and supporting images so the issue can be assessed.
Minor imperfections such as small scratches, fading, rust, surface marks, or other signs of age are inherent to vintage pieces and contribute to their character. These are not considered faults.
Due to the nature of vintage items, all sales are final.
