Created by Northern Rivers ceramic artists Mitch and Rebekah Parry of Pazzalotti, this hand-built urn moves between functional object and expressive artwork. Its generous, rounded body sits on a narrow foot, with two small sculptural handles and a wide, irregular rim.
Rich cobalt blue, turquoise and charcoal glazes move across the heavily textured surface, revealing the marks of its making. Raised details and layered colour give the vessel a sense of movement, with a different character emerging from every angle.
