Fawn Pendant Light - Medium
Wide and floating, the Fawn pendant is handwoven from elephant grass by a cooperative of women in northern Ghana. When lit they emit an ambient, warm glow. As each shade is handwoven, every piece is slightly different and its own unique piece. Included is a bronze and jute lighting kit, to be installed by a qualified electrician.
Twenty One Tonnes is a Los Angeles-based studio that designs mostly woven decor pieces, and produces them in collaboration with artisan partners in Ghana, Mexico, Japan and Colombia. Working intentionally with women, small family workshops, and indigenous communities, they strive to do trade in a way that supports tradition and sustainability by working with artisans to create new designs with ancestral techniques and local materials.
