A Brutalist razorback dining chair in the style of Guillerme & Chambron, drawing on the distinctive French design language of the 1950s and 60s. The sculpted timber back, characteristic of the razorback form, gives the chair its strong architectural profile, balanced by a simple upholstered seat.
Recently reupholstered in a textured off-white performance fabric, the lighter upholstery contrasts with the warmth and patina of the timber. Designed for dining, its sculptural form also lends itself to use as an occasional chair.
In good vintage condition, with age and wear to the timber as expected.
