Designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, the LC1 is defined by its lightweight tubular steel frame, exposed structure and suspended seat and back.
This vintage example has been newly upholstered in Capelli hair-on-hide, bringing warmth and natural variation to the chair’s precise metal framework. The hide gives each surface its own tonal character while retaining the clarity of the original design.
Compact and architectural, the LC1 works as an occasional chair in a living space, bedroom or study, or as a distinctive piece alongside a more generous sofa.
