What should I expect when buying vintage furniture?
Vintage furniture has lived a life before reaching you. Signs of age, variation, patina and previous use are part of its character rather than something we try to erase. We assess each piece individually and provide detailed imagery and condition information so you can understand its history and current condition before purchasing.
Is every vintage piece one of a kind?
In most cases, yes. Our vintage collection is sourced piece by piece, meaning many designs are available only once. Where we have multiples or a matching set, this will be noted on the product page.
How do you assess the condition of vintage furniture?
Every vintage piece is assessed individually before it is offered for sale. We consider its structure, materials, finish and signs of previous use, with notable condition details included in the product description and imagery. Age-related wear and patina are expected in vintage furniture and form part of the character of each piece.
Is Tigmi vintage furniture restored before sale?
Restoration is considered individually rather than applied uniformly to every piece. Where work is required, our approach is to preserve the integrity and character of the original design while ensuring the piece is ready for its next life. Any significant restoration, repair or reupholstery will be noted on the individual product page where relevant.
Can I request more information or images of a vintage piece?

Can I view an item before purchasing?

How much does delivery cost?
