Vessels & Pots
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Tigmi homewares handmade?
Many pieces in our homewares collection are made by hand using traditional techniques, from hand-thrown ceramics and woven objects to individually crafted decorative pieces. Materials and making processes vary by product and are detailed on each product page. Natural variations in colour, texture and form are part of the character of handmade pieces.
Will handmade pieces vary from the images shown online?
Yes. With handmade and natural materials, subtle variations in colour, texture, finish and form are expected. These differences are part of the making process and mean no two pieces are exactly alike. Where variation is particularly significant, we’ll note this on the individual product page.
Are decorative vessels suitable for holding water?
Not all decorative vessels are designed to hold water. Handmade and porous materials may require an internal vessel or liner when used with fresh flowers. Check the individual product description for guidance, or contact our team if you’re unsure about a particular piece.
Can I view homewares at the Tigmi showroom?
Yes. A selection of our homewares and objects can be viewed at our Byron Bay showroom. As our collection changes regularly and not every piece is on display, contact us at sales@tigmitrading.com before visiting if there’s something in particular you’d like to see.
