A rare vintage carpet handwoven in Morocco by the Azilal tribe in the 1970s. Made from the finest quality wool, each strand was carefully and densely woven by hand on a loom and took months to weave.
Incredibly soft underfoot, this rug features a beautiful silky wool with a variegated brown/grey/blue stripe detail. The finish of this piece is both luxurious and durable - a functional work of art.
This rug will add warmth and texture to your space - wherever you lay it is somewhere you'll want to spend your time.
A wonderful expression of creativity, the Azilal tribe hails from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. We work to preserve the remarkable skills of the woman weavers by sourcing both vintage and contemporary pieces that continue to sustain the methods and techniques that have passed down from generations.
