Italy, 1970s.
A rare single armchair designed by Adriano Piazzesi, produced in Italy during the 1970s. Newly upholstered in a soft terracotta performance fabric, this piece embodies the bold, futuristic style of the Space Age era. The enveloping silhouette curves seamlessly around the seat, creating a cocoon-like shape that feels both playful and refined.
Resting on a brushed aluminium tulip base, the chair embodies the futuristic spirit of 1970s Italian design while remaining timeless in its proportions and comfort. The fresh upholstery enhances the dramatic channelled detailing and soft rounded form.
Excellent vintage condition with newly reupholstered fabric and minor age-related wear to the base consistent with its era.

Materials: Reupholstered in a textured woven fabric with aluminium base.
Dimensions: H80 x W93 x D80cm, SH 50cm
