Designed by British-German creative Paul Stefan Gross, the Nomad Standing Lamp is an exploration of restraint, movement, and quiet utility.
Composed of a minimal frame and linen shades, the lamp not only references humanity’s origins as nomadic beings, but also the way light moves through a living space. Gross’s intention is for the lightweight lamp to be moved around the room as often as desired. According to him, a lamp should not be a static object, but a restless traveler.
Graphic yet understated, Nomad balances tension and softness - a sculptural form that feels equally at home in pared-back contemporary interiors and layered, textural settings.
