Inscribed with 'J.G. Thomson & Co Ltd, Vaults, Leith, 7305' on one side, with a smaller and likely original inscription 'A.W Buchan & Co, Portobello, Scotland' on the other.

Bears the wonderful patina of time, with signs of use consistent with age.
