1930's Art Deco Oak Sideboard
France, 1930s.
A substantial oak Art Deco sideboard in the manner of Charles Dudouyt, defined by its geometric carved panels, softened curves and warm honey-toned patina. The balanced façade features two cupboard doors flanking a central bank of four drawers, finished with elegant brass handles and fluted detailing.
Crafted entirely from oak, the piece carries the strong architectural presence characteristic of French Art Deco design while retaining a sense of warmth and refinement. The timber has developed a rich natural patina over time, with the varnish professionally refinished to preserve and enhance the beauty of the wood.
Presented in good vintage condition with age-related character consistent with its era.
