Relaxer Rocker chair, designed by Verner Panton circa 1970 - manufactured for Rosenthal in Denmark.

The frame is crafted from Beech timber and features an upholstered cushion, the frame is so-called "ground swing" constructed with two sickle-shaped runners and a wooden slatted frame.

The timber is in excellent vintage condition with some signs of wear consistent with age and use. The cushion is newly upholstered in ivory boucle.

Verner Panton is considered one of Denmark's most influential 20th century furniture & interiors designers. One if his best known designs is the Panton Chair (also known as the S Chair) developed together with Vitra in 1967.
