ProtectMe Upholstery & Rug Protector Spray - 750ml

Active ingredients: Amorphous silicon dioxide (Sio2), deionised water

Recommended Amount Per Rug Size: Use between 80-100ml/m2 depending on the absorbency of the fibre.

300 x 240cm rugs = 0.8 to 1 bottle
365 x 270cm rugs = 1 to 1.3 bottles
430 x 300cm rugs = 1.4 to 1.7 bottles

Prior To Application: Upholstery and carpets: Vacuum surfaces thoroughly & remove any existing stains. Any cleaning products should be removed. Product will have reduced effect if fabric has been pre-treated with a stain protector.

Directions: Shake well before use. Do not dilute. Check for colour fastness on a small area. Spray evenly from a 15cm distance until the material becomes moist. Use between 80-100ml/m2 depending on the absorbency of the textile. Thicker materials may require a second coat. Allow 12-24 hours for the coating to fully cure. When a spill occurs: keep calm and soak up the beaded spills. Do NOT scrub!

Direction On Use For Special Fabrics and Rugs
Leather ProtectME works on most types of fabric, including leather, so should not be an issue but we do ask you to do a light spray instead of the "wet look" as leather and water don't get along that well. Once you have treated with protectME, wait 10 minutes and then we ask you to get a soft clean cloth and "buff" the protectME into the leather. This will help prevent any water spots and will help provide even distribution of the product. Please always do a spot test first to ensure your fabric is colourfast, especially when natural dyes are involved

Jute & Abaca Fibers are more absorbent and it is recommended to apply 2 coats, 30min apart from each other.

Dry Clean Only Fabrics Please do not apply to dry clean only fabrics as protectME is water based.
