1970s Marsala Lounge Chair, by Ligne Roset
France, 1970's.
The Marsala lounge chair, designed by Michel Ducaroy for French maker Ligne Roset. Characterised by its low, modular profile, the chair features a moulded base that cradles generous cushions in it's original cotton velvet upholstery. Both sculptural and deeply comfortable, the Marsala embodies Ducaroy’s pioneering vision for relaxed, contemporary living and remains an enduring icon of 1970s French design.
