Designed in 1962 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, the 'Gatto' lamp is a quietly iconic piece—sculptural, soft and softly luminous. Crafted from a wire frame, coated in a delicate cocoon of sprayed resin and silk, it diffuses light with a gentle glow that feels both modern and timeless.

Its base, formed from wood and metal, anchors the form with subtle contrast, allowing the shade to appear as if softly floating. Bearing the gentle marks of time, this piece shows minor imperfections and a soft patina—adding a layer of charm and history to its already poetic presence.
