Sky Matter Vase
Created by husband and wife duo Mitch and Rebekah Parry, Pazzalotti’s sculptural vessels move fluidly between functional object and expressive artwork. Working from their Northern Rivers studio, each piece is hand built using layered clay bodies and intuitive gesture. Clawed, squeezed, scratched and dragged, the surface becomes a permanent record of movement and emotion.
Their process is inherently conversational. Forms unfold through experimentation and play before being refined through intentional prototyping, allowing each vessel to retain immediacy while holding structural integrity. Subtle irregularities are embraced. No two are alike.
Generous silhouettes and richly layered glazes give each vase a distinctly tactile presence. Powerful enough to stand alone, yet quietly functional, these works carry a raw yet resolved energy that feels both grounded and deeply expressive.
