With its delicate proportions and flowy character, the Tough Pinch elevates your personal space. Use it as a cabinet knob or as a wall hook in combination with the other objects from EVAANNA's 'Pinch Collection'.
These objects are designed to be comfortable to touch; with their soft shape they fit perfectly in your grip. Made of solid brass or bronze which will serve you for a lifetime with a living finish, meaning that as the product ages, it will naturally develop a darker colour due to oxidation and create a beautiful patina.
The design process begins by making models in clay, shaped by the maker's hands. The clay models are then sand cast in solid brass or bronze. This technique, where molten metal is poured into a sand mould, dates back thousands of years. After casting, the objects are sanded and polished by hand, leaving the grains of sand and the air bubbles visible in the finished piece. Each object is then drilled and punched by hand, a time-consuming and complex process that embraces traditional techniques.
