Designed and made in Brazil in the 1960's, this incredible 3 seater sofa features a Jacaranda Rosewood frame with a beautiful gloss finish.
The upholstered element of this iconic sofa is held in place by leather sling strapping which provides comfortable and sturdy support while also adding an element of design to the rear of the sofa.
The original Ochre leather has been expertly conditioned and restored and is in excellent vintage condition. This upholstery wraps around the back and sides of the frame, creating plush support on every side.

About the Designer:
Percival Lafer is a contemporary Brazilian furniture maker and pioneer of the Brazilian Modernist movement. He is most well known for his chair and sofa designs, which combine low-profile hardwood structures with plush leather upholstery.
After studying Architecture at São Paulo's Universidade Mackenzie, Lafer's father suddenly passed away, leaving his furniture making business, founded in 1927, to Lafer and his brothers. With his brothers, Lafer expanded the business and designed some of the most iconic and sought after pieces from the 60s and 70s.
