Leon Haouz of Marrakech
This rug from the Haouz plains of Marrakech features a muted taupe background with the subtlest hints of soft peach and beautiful traditional Berber patterns throughout.
The carpets from this region are mostly distinguished by the 'saw-tooth' border, which is seen as reinforcement for the rug's edge which is most subject to wear and tear. It is also thought that the saw-tooth chevron shapes represent the female womb.
Made from high quality wool, this rug will add so much warmth, texture and history to your space.
