This lovely Moroccan Beldi Bowl was hand blown and crafted, made from local recycled glass using techniques developed in the 1940s. Originally designed as a cup to serve tea, Beldi pieces are now available in various sizes and designs including bowls, jugs and vases.
The very last glass factory in Morocco still making hand-blown glasses was recently saved from permanent closure. Sixty skilled artisans now continue to make these simple, traditional glass pieces.
Know that any imperfections in the glass come from the breath of the person who made it.
