About the Designer:
Born in Paris in 1927 to family of artists and designers, Pierre Paulin created his most iconic pieces in collaboration with the Dutch manufacturer, Artifort. Fostering a sleek new space-age aesthetic, he developed furnishings with flowing lines and almost surreal naturalistic forms.
Paulin was commissioned by the French Government on multiple occasions to re-design the rooms of the President at the time, solidifying his place in French cultural history. His designs are now housed in museums and galleries such as MOMA New York and Center Pompidou in Paris.
Recommended for indoor use only.
