Outdoor living spaces are simply one of the best things about living in Australia and here in the Byron hinterland we have a pretty amazing climate year round. We love homes that reflect and celebrate the outdoors and provide space for gatherings, entertaining and relaxation; multiple outdoor living zones each with their own function and character.
Our recent campaign features a number of inspired outdoor living zones drawing on a beautiful mix of artisan rugs and cushions with plenty of colour and texture. We believe a space should feel comfortable and lived in and are great advocates of mixing colours and textures to create a unique and sophisticated environment.
MAKING AN ENTRANCE
The perfect spot for a timber and rattan day bed along the wall between the entrance door and front window. The mix of colour and texture of the cushions are balanced with the blue/grey rendered wall, timber verandah beams and a flatweave Kilim rug which is ideal for high traffic areas.
Seriously who doesn't love an impromptu picnic? This small pier and lake house are the perfect space and the best excuse to grab your picnic basket and a couple of (lightweight and transportable) flatweave Kilim rugs, a good book and settle in for an afternoon by the water.
A sandstone room next to the pool offers a cool and shaded recluse from the sun, as well as a gathering place to dine, ample seating and a wood fire oven. The timber finishes on the seating and rake ceiling perfectly compliment the sandstone and a few textile additions from our collections warmed up the space beautifully. A room like this is perfect for entertaining and spending time with your favourites.
RELAX & REWIND
It was an easy decision to hang our handmade Mexican hammock on this deck - with views out to the lake, a heavenly breeze and the whirr of birds in the bush all it needed was our leather & reed Tuareg mat and natural timber accessories - the perfect place to do very little!
